Head Coach Lori Miller
My husband Jeff and I have been married for 17 years and we have 4 children, ranging in ages from 23 to 11 years old. We have homeschooled for over 12 years.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984, and later went back to school and graduated with a PhD in Management Information Systems from TAMU in 1996. I stay very busy homeschooling my own children, as well as teaching geometry to other homeschoolers.
My husband and I have coached basketball and girls' softball for many years as our kids have grown. I particularly love the game of basketball, and have enjoyed not only watching my own kids learn the game and compete, but helping others learn more about the game and what it takes to be part of a team. My oldest son played two years of college ball, and my 15 year old son has played competitive AAU ball the last three summers. I did play basketball myself in high school and club ball in college, but I have probably learned the most through the years of watching my kids and others play the game. Basketball is such a fun, fast pace game, that requires not only physical skillfulness, but mental proficiency. I hope to help the girls learn a little bit more about the game, but more importantly, to help them understand all that is required to be a part of a team. My number one expectation is that we grow into a team that is known for its love and encouragement towards one another and works hard!
