Augusta Eagles High School Baseball Overcomes Coastal Hurricanes In Face of 3-Run Inning

Coastal Hurricanes High School baseball team scored three runs in the seventh inning, but the Augusta Eagles High School Baseball team still won 10-4 on Saturday. Coastal Homeschool Hurricanes 14U's big inning was driven by by Odom, by Yang, and by Baker.

In the first inning, the Eagles got their offense started when Caleb Johnson grounded out, scoring one run.

The Eagles put up five runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by the Augusta Eagles was led by Will Brantley and Johnson, who all drove in runs.

Johnson earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Eagles.  He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out 11. Braden Holliday threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Augusta Eagles saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Isaac Williams and Frankie Rippo had multiple hits for the Eagles.  Rippo and Williams each collected two hits to lead the Eagles.  The Augusta Eagles didn't commit a single error in the field. Williams had the most chances in the field with 14.

Gates led Coastal Hurricanes with three hits in three at bats.
