Archery
Archery is a rewarding sport which helps athletes develop sharper focus, greater patience, and stronger self-discipline with every careful shot they take. It grows lasting confidence and offers a fun experience while teaching a skill that they can continue to enjoy for the rest of their lives.
Ages and Eligibility
Open to students in 4th - 12th grades, who are either homeschooled or whose school does not offer an Archery team.
When
Practice begins in late September, and tournaments continue through the GAPPS State Tournament in March.
TOURNAMENTS
Archers compete in at least six tournaments. Most tournaments will be held in Augusta, Thompson, and Statesboro.
Practices
Practices will be held on Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.
ORGANIZATIONS
We compete using NASP rules, in both NASP and GAPPS tournaments.
EQUIPMENT
NASP tournaments require the use of Genesis Original bows.
