Cross Country
Augusta Eagles Cross Country is a uniquely demanding, no-cut team sport where athletes in grades 3 - 12 test their limits across natural terrains like grass and wooded trails. Friendships are built through shared sweat, fellowship, and faith as coaches encourage athletes not only to pursue their running goals but also to grow in character and integrity.
Before you can register for Cross Country, you'll need to have submitted your GAPPS application, paid your Eagles Annual Fee, and have an updated sports physical form. Scroll down for links!
Note: If you paid the Eagles Annual fee last spring, you will need to pay it again for the 2026/2027 school year.
Ages
Programs are available for students in grades 3-12, approximately aged 8-18 years. We welcome all levels of experience.
When
Preseason begins in June for Varsity & July for everyone else; the regular season runs from late July through late October. Some families choose to attend Homeschool Nationals in Hermitage, TN the first Saturday in November.
Practices & Meets
We practice 3-4 days per week. A typical season includes 6-10 meets plus state championships.
Uniforms
Uniforms will be loaned out and must be returned at the end of the season. Jersey and shorts are included. Uniform fittings will take place at the kickoff on July 6.
