HOCO Powder Puff/Tuff Games

On October 10, the Augusta Eagles will host their annual Homecoming Powderpuff Football and Powdertuff Volleyball Games. These much-anticipated events bring the Eagles community together for an afternoon of friendly competition, team spirit, and Homecoming excitement.

The Powderpuff Flag Football game brings together female athletes from across the Augusta Eagles for spirited competition on the field. With guidance from Eagles football players and coaches, the athletes prepare to showcase teamwork, determination, and Eagle pride as they compete for the win.

In a lively role reversal, male athletes from various sports take the court for the Powdertuff Volleyball Game. Members of the Lady Eagles Volleyball Team serve as coaches and officials, sharing their knowledge of the game while keeping the competition organized and engaging. The matchup promises energetic rallies, strong teamwork, and plenty of well-played volleyball.

For both events, the men and women are divided into two teams whose names reflect the Homecoming dance theme, adding an extra layer of friendly rivalry to each matchup. Last year, the teams were the Alphas and the Omegas, and both Alpha teams emerged victorious.
