We are excited for another year of Augusta Eagles Basketball - 2026-2027 Season

Augusta Eagles Basketball is a competitive homeschool basketball program serving the Greater Augusta, Georgia area. Built to develop student-athletes on and off the court, the program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence in competition. Augusta Eagles Basketball provides a positive environment where players can grow in skill, character, and faith while representing their community with honor.

Ages

Middle School: ages 11 - 14 years old

Junior Varsity: ages 13 - 16 years old

Varsity: ages 13 - 19 years old

When

The basketball season starts in September and ends in Feb/March.

Registration will open on August 15th.

Where

Practices

Practices begin the 2nd week of September; players must be registered in order to practice.

Middle School Teams practice 2 times per week (Typically Monday or Tuesday and Thursday.

JV/Varsity Teams practice 3 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

Games

We typically have 1-2 games per week; some weeks, we have 3!

Middle School Teams will play 14-18 games over the course of the season.

JV/Varsity Teams will play 16-20 games over the course of the season.

Jerseys

Uniforms and warm-ups will be loaned out and must be returned at the end of the season. Jersey and shorts are included, as well as warm-up jackets and pants.

A uniform agreement is to be signed by each player’s parent/guardian, agreeing to return any and all equipment issued to their child by the team.

Natural wear and tear of equipment is expected; however, abuse or loss of equipment furnished by Eagle Sports will incur a fee for repair or replacement.

Replacement fee information is in the Uniform Agreement form which will be provided after registration.

REGISTRATION COST

Middle School Teams Registration Fees: $360.00

JV/Varsity Teams Registration Fees: $450

*Note: A prerequisite to registration requires all athletes to pay the non-refundable $30 Eagle Sports Annual Membership; exception to the rule: if a player participates in multiple sports w/ AE program, the fee is only paid once for the year (June-June). If the membership requirement has been met, the athlete is eligible for registration; otherwise, they will appear in the 'Not Eligible' section of the registration window until that prerequisite is met.

IMPORTANT: Athletes have the opportunity to reduce or pay in full for their season fees through sponsorships from local businesses. (See Sponsorship Form at the bottom of the page)

EXTRA COST

In addition to registration, there is a $300 Sponsorship fee per family (not per player)

***Sponsorship fees can be raised by retaining businesses to sponsor athletes and/or participating in Fundraising.

Other fees incurred are hotel stays and travel for tournaments. Typically, 2 tournaments per season.
